Dear Festivider 2024
Oct. 14th, 2024 09:51 amHello, Festividder! Perhaps this is a little unhelpful, but I would honestly take anything for these requests. I like all kinds of music and have no content warnings to list to speak of. Here's a little bit for each, just in case:
Silo (TV): I love this show and am always just trying to get people to watch it. Anything would be great. Juliette is wonderful and I love to stare at her in particular, obviously.
The Fall Guy (2024) [SAFETY]: I thought this movie was silly and cute, and the romance very low stakes and sweet. And there's kissing! A win in this day and age.
Reminiscence (2021) [SAFETY]: Pretty! It's pretty. Is it a great movie? Who can say. Is everybody hot in it? Yes! Is it also aesthetically very pretty? Yes! It would make a gorgeous vid.
Twisters (2024) [SAFETY] Who didn't love Twisters? Anything for this movie would be great! Take it in any direction you'd like.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Concert Film) [SAFETY] I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Eras Tour twice and a little vid to commemorate it would be so awesome. There are great visuals in this and I would love to see what someone comes up with for an Eras Tour edit.
Michael Powell & Emeric Pressburger Films [UMBRELLA] Just thinking about the visual gorgeousness of a vid exploring their works makes me giddy. And what an opportunity to dive into some amazing films!
Casablanca (1942) [SAFETY] THEE Classic OF All Time. Anything would be great.
Servant (TV 2019) This show is bananas. Part of the M. Night Shyamalan universe and featuring an increasingly unhinged performance from Nell Tiger Free and Lauren Ambrose is also here being great as always. Deals with some rough subject matter and I'm not sure that it is going to end satisfactorily (I have two eps left lol) but it's wild and fun and creepy and an enjoyable watch. It's on Apple TV which is why many have probably never heard of it.
Slow Horses (TV) Another Apple TV great! Flop spies who I love so much! This is an awesome show and this is just a request for everyone to watch it.
I Saw the TV Glow (2024) [SAFETY] One of my favorite films of this year. Visually and emotionally powerful and anything for this one would not go amiss.
